How it works:
Customer calls in to your dedicated phone number to your website. A pre-recored greeting gives customer voice menu options like:
- For order status, press 1
- For product prices and avalability, press 2
- Or press 3 for operator...
If customer presses 1, he/she will be asked to enter order number (simple situation) or combination of order number + zipcode (more privacy) using phone keypad before the system tells him/her the order status, payment status and shipping status
If customer presses 2, he/she will be asked for product SKU# (*) then the system will read the current product price from your website as well as its availability.
If customer presses 3. he/she will be asked to wait while the system connects him/her to your representative's phone number if it is within your work hours. if not, the system play a pre-recored message or send customer to another phone number where you have voice mail setup.
(*) SKU# : the numeric string value that you setup in nopCommerce product variants. These numbers should be on printed brochures/catalogs for customer reference.
Contract:
- No long term contract.
- Month to month basis. However there is no refund for the current month when you send a request to stop the service.
- Service automatically stops when you finish your minutes allowed for a given month unless you pay for extension for that month.
